(More customer reviews)I bought this unit 8/10 to use for my commute to work.I noticed the unit has very poor range unless the source is directly in front of the car.About a month after I bought it, the unit began to malfunction.Every time it detected a signal the proper alarm would sound for a second or two and then the laser alarm would begin to sound and would not turn off until the unit was powered down.Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars on a BEL, Valentine, or Escort/Passport.Don't make the same mistake I did.
